QI-Digital Forum 2025

The 4th QI Digital Forum brought together technical experts, global thought leaders, policy makers and industry stakeholders at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt in Berlin on 8 and 9 October. They exchanged views on the future of quality infrastructure (QI) in a rapidly digitalising world and how agile, digital and inclusive quality systems can promote economic competitiveness, societal well-being and resilience in the face of global challenges.

The entire event emphasised the urgency of building comprehensive trust in digital and AI-enabled systems, not only in terms of technical excellence, but also in terms of societal benefits - for safety, health, sustainability and economic success. Combining high-level political dialogue, technical discussion panels and interactive sessions with stakeholders, this year's QI Digital Forum once again positioned itself as a catalyst for shaping the next generation of digital quality infrastructure - agile, inclusive and ready for the challenges of tomorrow.
